Our boat captain will stop and even go out of the way to give you an opportunity to see them. Kenai Fjords is one of those rare locations in Alaska that's just teaming with wildlife. We can almost guarantee that you will see numerous black bears. There are seals around the glaciers, sea otters, and bald eagles and an occasional mountain goat, coyote, and hoary marmot. There's also a haulout for endangered Steller sea lions, and masses of seabirds nest here in the summer, including the famous puffin.

There are three tidewater glaciers that spill down off the Harding Ice field. You'll witness the awesome power of calving glaciers from the best seat in house, your kayak.
