Your Seward Dog Sled adventure begins with a two-mile dog sled ride. Feel the power, excitement, and energy of sled dogs as they are harnessed to the comfortable wheeled dog sled. This Seward tour package features all the attractions that truly make Alaska the Greatland. First, your guide shows you the sights of Seward. Learn why Seward was known as "the Gateway to Alaska" and "Mile 0" of the Iditarod Trail. See first-hand the effects of the 1964 Earthquake. Then, head out to Exit Glacier and enjoy a short walk along the nature trail that takes you to the face of the glacial ice. Watch for mountain goats, moose and bears. A hearty lunch will be served before you travel to the Seavey homestead and experience IdidaRide's Sled Dog tour. At the end your driver will return you to your hotel, cruise ship or the Alaska Railroad depot. All local transportation and lunch are included in this package.
Paddle rafting offers river runners more participatory adventure and is our most popular river trip for Alaska travelers seeking hands-on action. While some Alaska raft adventure companies will paddle around the big whitewater, with the protection of our "drysuits" and the experience of our guides, Denali Outdoor Center will run more Alaska whitewater and offer a more exciting ride! Our 15ft. Star Inflatables are smaller rafts designed specifically for paddling. With less people on board, the Alaska whitewater action is bigger and more fun! Experience the beautiful Nenana River Gorge in Denali National Park, Alaska with all it has to offer.

Just sit, hold on and enjoy the Alaska raft ride! This Alaska raft adventure is a perfect introduction to whitewater rafting from "mild to wild" and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Your Alaska river guide will be seated in the middle of the raft operating the oars to navigate the whitewater. We are a family friendly excursion and invite all Alaska travelers ages 5 and older. Children must be big enough to fit into our smallest "smiley face" drysuit in order to raft in Alaska.

We accept payment by VISA/MasterCard. You will receive a pre-trip packet detailing the itinerary of the tour you have chosen and an equipment list.

We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance coverage can help with expenses for the unforeseeable such as lost baggage, trip delays, emergency evacuation, and cancellation due to illness.
