This one-day Kenai Fjord cruises departing from Anchorage, Alaska will provide an in-depth experience within the pristine Kenai Fjords National Park. Tours are fully narrated by an accredited wildlife interpreter and also include a visit to the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge.

Kenai Fjords is teeming with wildlife. Whales, sea lions, sea otters, porpoises, orcas, bears, eagles, seals, seabirds, and mountain goats all call Kenai Fjords National Park home. There's incredible scenery and massive tidewater glaciers, towering walls of ice from the last ice age that calve into the fjords.

ITINERARY **
Anchorage departure. Train departs at 6:45 AM. Bus departs at 7:00 AM,

Arriving in Seward by train you'll be met at the Seward Train Depot by one of Kenai Fjords Tours buses for the short shuttle to the Small Boat Harbor. If you arrive in Seward by bus, the bus will drop you off at the Small Boat Harbor.

At the Small Boat Harbor you'll check in at the tour office and board the whale watching glacier cruise boat. Whale Watching Cruise departs the Small Boat Harbor at 11:30 AM. This 6:00 hour cruise arrives back in Seward at 5:30 PM.

A healthy chicken Caesar wrap for lunch will be served on the cruise.

On our way to Aialik Bay to see a calving tidewater glacier, your cruise includes whale watching and wildlife viewing. The endangered Steller Sea lions, sea otters, porpoises, eagles, seals, seabirds, mountain goats, killer whale, humpback whale, gray whale, fin whale, and the Minke Whale all call Kenai Fjords National Park home.

Returning to Anchorage. The train arrives back in Anchorage at 10:15 PM. The bus arrives back in Anchorage at 9:30 PM

What To Wear On Your Trip
Dress in layers. A stocking cap and gloves are nice to have if you're not used to cooler temperatures. Kenai Fjords National Park is a temperate rain forest and rain gear, pants and jacket are highly recommended if you want to be outside for the best views of the wildlife, whales and the glaciers.
